Sydney Youth Musical Theatre aims to give young people the opportunity to explore and develop skills in theatre and to develop the desire and ability to achieve the highest standard of excellence in musical theatre. The aims of the group have certainly reached a superb standard with our recent productions.

OUR PRODUCTIONS
Each year SYMT stages two large scale musical theatre productions, where we cast a range of performers, between the ages of 10 and 25. We aim to deliver an experience where our cast feel engaged in all aspects of performing. Whether it be Acting, Singing or Dance, our production teams ensure that every cast member get's their moment to shine on stage. We are a community based theatre company and therefore the bonds of family, friends and our supporters in the community are at the forefront of everything we do.
Our shows are big and bright, and with cast sizes of 50+, there is always an immeasurable amount of up and coming talent on our stage. Should you, or your young one, be interested in auditioning for one of our productions, sign up to our mailing list here.

Our Directors, Choreographers and Musical Directors bring their unique show visions, training and expertise to the SYMT stage to ensure that every single cast member get's the chance to shine. They lead our cast and crew members in a fun, driven and professional manner.
