Your generous donation helps ensure the continuation of SYMT's legacy.
SYMT is registered as a Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR).
Donations are tax-deductible. The ACNC registers organisations as charities, and the ATO endorses DGR status.
We are very proud to have seen many of our past performers and production teams go on to study at NIDA, WAAPA & VCA, receive Helpmann & Rob Guest Foundation Awards, and perform in professional productions from Matilda and Hamilton to Miss Saigon and Jesus Christ Superstar — in Australia and overseas.
To continue providing these invaluable opportunities, SYMT relies on fundraising and government grants. Due to increased costs associated with venue and professional crew hire, we face significant financial challenges. Our DGR status allows alumni, community members and theatre enthusiasts to make tax-deductible donations to support our mission — and a tiered donations system is coming soon.
