SYMT thrives on the support and encouragement of its community. It's through the words of parents, past performers and patrons that our cast feels valued and inspired to reach new heights.
"Harry had his first audition with SYMT in Dec 2023. He joined the cast of School of Rock in the ensemble soon after and the opportunity to be a part of this show changed Harry's life! He went on to audition and be cast as the Mad Hatter in Shrek and most recently as Billy in Billy Elliot the Musical, both for SYMT.
Harry has been so fortunate to make close friends right across the supportive and talented group of children, teens and young adults alike. He has gained invaluable experience in acting, dancing, singing, technical and backstage understanding, production, set design, choreography, makeup, costumes and more!
We are so grateful to SYMT for providing a safe, kind, fun, creative and supportive environment where young people with common interests can come together in the community. As a family, we feel so privileged to be a part of the SYMT family and will be forever grateful for the life-changing opportunity that has allowed Harry to pursue his passion for musical theatre and dream to be on stage."
