We are also very proud to have seen many of our past performers and production teams subsequently go on to study at NIDA, WAAPA & VCA, and been the recipients of annual Helpmann & Rob Guest Foundation Awards. We proudly have past cast and crew in the professional shows such as "Matilda", “Hamilton”, “The Dismissal”, “School of Rock” “and “Beauty and the Beast”, “Miss Saigon” and currently “Jesus Christ Superstar” amongst other professional shows staged across both in Australia and overseas.

To continue providing these invaluable opportunities, SYMT relies on fundraising and government grants. However, due to increased costs associated with venue and professional crew hires, we are facing significant financial challenges. We have recently obtained Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status, allowing our alumni, community members, and theatre enthusiasts to make tax-deductible donations to support our mission.​ Coming soon we will announce a tiered donations system.
